About the Embassy

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Bern serves as the principal diplomatic representation of Somalia to the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Established to foster bilateral relations, the Embassy promotes Somalia's interests and provides consular services to Somali nationals in the region.

The Embassy maintains close coordination with Somalia's Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva, which addresses multilateral diplomacy, human rights, and international humanitarian affairs.

Our mission is to strengthen Somalia–Switzerland ties, support Somali diaspora communities, and advance Somalia's standing in the international community.
