Somalia and Switzerland maintain diplomatic relations through the Somali Embassy in Bern and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. The two nations share a commitment to international law, humanitarian principles, and multilateral diplomacy.

In a landmark diplomatic ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Khadra Ahmed Duale presented her Letters of Credence to H.E. Karin Keller-Sutter, President of the Swiss Confederation, marking a new chapter of strengthened bilateral engagement.
