Mission Members

The Permanent Mission of Somalia to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva is staffed by a team of diplomats and administrative officers who support the Permanent Representative in carrying out the Mission’s multilateral and bilateral responsibilities. Mission members cover key thematic areas including human rights, humanitarian affairs, health, trade, labour, and development, representing Somalia in negotiations, committee sessions, and working groups across the Geneva-based UN system. Under the leadership of the Permanent Representative, the Mission’s team works in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, as well as with other Somali missions abroad, to ensure consistent and effective representation of national positions. For specific inquiries regarding a particular thematic area or to reach a member of the diplomatic team, please contact the Mission directly.
