Permanent Representative

H.E. Ms. Khadra Ahmed Dualeh serves as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva, and as Ambassador of Somalia to Switzerland and Austria. In this role, Ambassador Dualeh leads Somalia’s diplomatic engagement across the UN system in Geneva, representing the country’s interests before the Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, the World Trade Organization, the International Labour Organization, and other Geneva-based institutions. A career diplomat with extensive experience in multilateral affairs, Ambassador Dualeh brings a strong record of public service and international engagement to her role. She works closely with the Government of the Federal Republic of Somalia, fellow Permanent Representatives, and international partners to advance Somalia’s priorities on peace and state-building, sustainable development, and human rights, while also overseeing the Embassy’s bilateral relations with Switzerland and Austria and its consular services to the Somali community.
